What is the ruling of sleeping after Fajr time?

Q. What is the ruling of sleeping after Fajr time?

A. It is disliked (Makrooh) to sleep at the beginning of the day or after Fajr Salaah unless there is a need to do so. (Hindiyyah 5/376)

Sleeping at the beginning of the day or after Fajr Salaah deprives one from benefitting from the Dua of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam for his Ummah for blessings (Barakah) in the early mornings.

Sayyiduna Sakhr Al Ghaamidi Radhiyallahu Anahu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said (made Dua): “O Allah, bless my Ummah in their early mornings.” When he sent out a detachment or an army, he sent them at the beginning of the day. Sakhr (the narrator of this Hadith) was a merchant, and he would send off his merchandise at the beginning of the day; and he became rich and had much wealth. (Tirmidhi)
