Is it permissible for men to apply Hennah (Mehndi)?

Q. Is mehndi permissible to apply for men? I have heard some say it can be applied on the little finger. Please advise.

A. The application of Hennah/Mehndi on the hands and feet are permitted for women and not men. Accordingly, men are not allowed to apply Hennah on their hands/fingers unless there is a medical need etc. to do so. (Al Bahrur-Raaiq 8/208)
