Do people meet their relatives who passed on after they pass away?

Q. My mother passed away. The only person my brother and I had was my mother. We cannot eat, drink and sleep properly since she passed away. Will we meet our mother after we die?

A. After the demise of a person, the soul of a person meets other souls of people who passed away before him/her. (Fataawa Mahmoodiyyah 1/613) Thus, the same would apply to meeting ones family and relatives after ones demise.
