Slaughtering on a day that some believe to be the day of Eid

Q. I sell sheep to the Muslim public at the time of Eid and I also slaughter it on their behalf. There are some Muslims who bought sheep from me and want me to slaughter it on Friday, 31st July 2020 but I am following the majority of Muslims in South Africa who are celebrating Eid on Saturday, 1st August 2020.

Can I slaughter their sheep on Friday even though I follow Eid being on Saturday?

A. If a person/farmer follows and believes Saturday (1st of August 2020) to be the day of Eid-ul-Adhaa (10th of Zul-Hijjah 1441), and he is slaughtering on behalf of his customers/clients who follow and believe Friday (31st July 2020) to be the day of Eid-ul-Adhaa, he cannot carry out the slaughter on their behalf on Friday.

This is because, at the time of slaughter, the belief and actions of the person/farmer carrying out the slaughter is considered and not the belief and actions of the person on whose behalf the slaughter is carried out.
