Performing Salaah in congregation whilst travelling

Q. If a group of people are travelling together, is it still necessary for them to perform Salaah in congregation?

A. If a person or a group of people are travelling (Musaafir) together, the compulsion (Wujoob) to perform Salaah in congregation does not fall away. It still remains compulsory to perform Salaah in congregation wherever possible. (Badaai’ 1/153)
