Does nail polish have to be removed from a deceased woman when performing her Ghusal?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> One of the prerequisites for a Ghusal to be valid is that water must reach all parts of the body. This is applicable to both, the living and the dead.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, if water does not reach the nails due to the non-permeable nature of the nail polish, the Ghusal will be invalid.
