Is lucid dreaming permissible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> A lucid dream refers to a dream during which the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming. During lucid dreaming, the dreamer may be able to have some control over the dream characters, narrative, and environment.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of Shariah, if during a lucid dream, one entertains impermissible or Haraam things or one fantasizes over impermissible or Haraam acts, then one will be sinful.
