An Imaam recited a verse of Surah Faatihah twice in Salaah mistakenly. Is the Salaah valid? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> In principle, to repeat <strong>a verse<\/strong> of Surah Faatihah in Salaah <strong>mistakenly or intentionally<\/strong> does not render the Salaah invalid.<\/p>\n<p>However, to repeat a major portion (more than half) of Surah Faatihah in Salaah <strong>mistakenly<\/strong> will necessitate the performance of a <strong>Sajdah Sahw<\/strong> to compensate for it.
