Are men and women allowed to wear platinum rings?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> In principle, a <strong>man<\/strong> is allowed to wear <strong>silver rings only<\/strong> <strong>(Shaami 6\/359)<\/strong> that weigh less than one Mithqal (approximately 4.374 g) <strong>(Shaami 6\/361).<\/strong> Hence, it is not permissible for a man to wear rings made from other metals or materials apart from a silver ring.
