Can it be done by a South African and a resident of Makkah Mukarramah too? Can everyone do it? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> A <strong>Qiraan<\/strong> Hajj refers to a person adorning the Ihraam with the intention of performing <strong>Umrah and Hajj<\/strong> with <strong>one Ihraam<\/strong> during the Months and days of Hajj.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>Tamattu\u2019<\/strong> Hajj refers to a person adorning the Ihraam with the intention of performing <strong>Umrah and Hajj<\/strong> with <strong>two Ihraams<\/strong> respectively during the Months and days of Hajj.<\/p>\n<p>An <strong>Ifraad<\/strong> Hajj refers to a person adorning the Ihraam with the intention of performing <strong>one Hajj<\/strong> only with <strong>one Ihraam<\/strong> during the Months and days of Hajj.<\/p>\n<p>It is permissible for non-residents (Aafaaqi\u2019s) of Makkah Mukarramah and South African Hujjaj etc. to perform the Qiraan, Tamattu\u2019 and Ifraad Hajj although it is more virtuous to perform a Qiraan Hajj, then a Tamattu\u2019 Hajj and then an Ifraad Hajj respectively. However, a resident of Makkah Mukarramah can only perform an Ifraad Hajj only. <strong>(Muallimul Hujjaaj 97)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The difference of one or two Ihraams refers to the intentions made respectively and not necessarily the adorning of separate Ihraam clothing.
