Is there anything wrong for women to tie a camel hump Hijaab?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A. <\/strong>Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu Anhu reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: <em>\u201cThere are two categories of people of the fire (jahannam) which I haven\u2019t seen (non-existent at that time). Amongst them are\u2026\u2026women who are clothed yet they are naked, attracting (to males) and are attracted to (by males). Their heads are like that of <strong><u>a camel\u2019s hump which are tilted.<\/u> <\/strong>Such women will not enter Jannah nor will they smell its fragrance although its fragrance can be smelt from a long distance.\u201d<\/em><strong><em>(Muslim) <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the above Hadeeth, \u201ca camel\u2019s hump which are tilted\u201d refers to women hair-styling their heads by tying head cloths or scarfs on them which look like the tilted hump of a camel.<strong> <em>(Takmilah-Fathul Mulhim 5\/118-119)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In different parts of the world this type of hairstyle is called<em> \u201ccamel hump hijab\u201d, \u201cbeehive hijab\u201d, \u201cvolumanized hijab\u201d or \u201ckhaleeji hijab\u201d<\/em> etc.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, this type of \u2018hair-styling\u2019 for women is not allowed as it is understood from the above Hadeeth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allah Ta\u2019ala Knows Best<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mufti Ismaeel Bassa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>themufti.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the ruling for women tying a Camel Hump Hijaab?\u00a0 Q.
