How many days after Hajj is a Haaji\u2019s Duas still accepted for forgiveness? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A. <\/strong>A Haaji\u2019s Dua of forgiveness for himself and for others continues from the days of Hajj until the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of Rabi-Ul-Awwal which is approximately <strong>90 days<\/strong>. One may continue to remind or request the Haaji to make Dua for himself\/herself until the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of Rabi-Ul-Awwal.<\/p>\n<p>Sayyiduna Ibn Umar Radhiyallahu Anhu reports: <em>\u201cThe Haaji will be forgiven and for whom the Haaji seeks forgiveness, for the remainder of the Month of Zul-Hijjah (20 days from the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of Zul-Hijjah), the Month of Muharram (30 days), the Month of Safar (30 days) and 10 days of the Month of Rabi-Ul-Awwal (10 days).\u201d <\/em><strong><em>(Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: The common notion that the Haaji\u2019s Dua is accepted for 40 days from the days of Hajj is unsubstantiated.
