What are the times of stoning during the days of Hajj? Some people were saying that stoning should be done after sunrise and some were saying that it should be done after Zawwal. I stoned after sunrise on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; after Zawwal on the 11<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 12<sup>th<\/sup>. I did not stone on the 13<sup>th<\/sup>. Is my stoning counted as valid?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A. <\/strong>Pelting is compulsory (Waajib) during three days of Hajj, the 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup> of Zul-Hijjah.<\/p>\n<p>The times for pelting are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1) 10<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>\u2013\u00a0<strong>Sunnah time<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0 After sunrise till zawwal<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Makrooh time<\/strong> &#8211; After dawn till sunrise<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) 11<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 12<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Sunnah time<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0After zawwal till sunset<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Makrooh time<\/strong> &#8211; After sunset of the 11<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 12<sup>th<\/sup> \u00a0till dawn of the 12<sup>th<\/sup>\/13<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Pelting on the 13<sup>th<\/sup> of Zul-Hijjah only <strong>becomes compulsory(Waajib)<\/strong> if one is present in Mina at the time of dawn (Fajr Saadiq) of the 13th. The time of pelting on the 13<sup>th<\/sup> of Zul-Hijjah is as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) 13<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Sunnah time<\/strong> \u2013 After zawwal till sunset<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Makrooh time<\/strong> \u2013 After dawn till zawwal<\/p>\n<p>In the enquired situation, you had pelted at the correct Sunnah times on the 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup> of Zul-Hijjah.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of stoning on the 13<sup>th<\/sup> of Zul-Hijjah, if you were not present in Mina at the time of dawn on the 13<sup>th<\/sup>, then stoning did not become compulsory for you. However, if you were present in Mina at the time of dawn on the 13<sup>th<\/sup>, then it became compulsory upon you to do so.
