What is meant by reciting Qur\u2019aan in a melodious voice?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> Reciting Quraan in a melodious voice refers to such a recital which softens the heart, creates humility and the fear of Allah. The aspiration to fulfil the commandments of Allah is increased and the hearts of the listeners are affected.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst we acknowledge a melodious voice as pleasant and a bounty from Allah, it is however not a condition from the laws of Tajweed (correct recital of Quraan). If one has been blessed with a beautiful and melodious voice, then he should be grateful to Allah by reciting Quraan with it.
