The term Black Friday was coined to describe crowds and traffic conditions on the Friday following Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p>Cyber Monday refers to the Monday following Thanksgiving Day (2 December 2019). It was created by retailers to encourage people to shop online following Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p>Black Friday and Cyber Monday have no religious connotations to it.
