Can food or furniture be bought with Zakaat money and given as Zakaat to a Zakaat recipient?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> Zakaat may be discharged in cash or kind. It is also permitted for one to purchase food, furniture or any other item with Zakaat money and give it as Zakaat to a recipient of Zakaat.
