Respected Mufti,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Is auctioning to purchase a home or vehicle or selling any personal item of oneself through the form of auctioning permissible in Islam?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If so please provide me with some Hadith and reference.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JazakAllah.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A. <\/strong>The concept of auctioning is permissible in Islam. (Al Mabsoot 15\/76)<\/p>\n<p>Sayyiduna Anas Bin Maalik Radhiyallahu Anhu reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam sold a saddle blanket and a drinking bowl. He (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: &#8220;Who will buy this saddle blanket and drinking bowl ?&#8221;. So a man said: &#8220;I will take them for a Dirham.&#8221; So Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: &#8220;Who will give more than a Dirham?
