Assalaamwaalaikum. I recently made Chutney with dried green chillies. I didn&#8217;t see any weevils in the red chillies when I made the Chutney but later when I checked the packet I saw some weevils. I don&#8217;t know if any got grounded into the chutney. Is it permissible to eat the chutney or do I have to throw it out? I only used 7 dry red chillies over a litre of chutney. Jazakallah khair<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> As a general rule, it is not permissible to consume insects or food, which have insects in it.
